The Skeete Interpretation of Bowen
The “Skeete Interpretation” of the Bowen Technique represents a distinctive approach developed through decades of clinical observation and refinement. This approach is characterised by:
- Precise Assessment: Identifying the body’s unique patterns of compensation and stress
- Strategic Intervention: Using minimal, targeted movements to maximum effect
- Integrated Awareness: Understanding the connections between physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of wellbeing
- Respect for Timing: Honouring the body’s natural healing rhythms and processes
Delbert Skeete: “I believe that before any person can focus even one ounce of energy into their chosen activity, they have to ‘fight’ against both their own physical and psychological stress. The Bowen technique aids in relieving both physical and emotional tension, allowing individuals to redirect that energy toward performance and wellbeing.”
